Michelle (Micky) Welles is, for the most part, a self taught artist, although she credits her two favorite art teachers, Sr. Eileen and Sr. Claire Pelletier with giving her the basic fundamentals of design, that are used every time she picks up a pencil or pen. She started her art career working as a technical illustrator for an environmental consulting firm.
